Hello! I am brand-spanking new to soap-making, but am super-stoked to get going. I am glad I found this forum, and I look forward to learning lots of new things from all you pros! Thanks,
Lushie

Hi Soaplushie!
I just joined a couple of weeks ago myself. It seems there are people of all levels here which I love! Welcome!
Cheers!

Thank you so much for your welcomes, everyone! I have already learned *so much* by browsing and searching, and had a lot of fun, too! I'm looking forward to honing my chosen craft :) I'm off to try and salvage a misguided soap attempt... have a good one!

Hi Lushie! I'm new too. What are you salvaging? What are you thinking on making next?

Hi Seawolfe,
I'm salvaging some shea butter and olive oil soap that I made - I added too much oil for the amount of base, and it wouldn't lather well. Next, I'm thinking about making a cocoa butter soap... we'll see! What are you working on? Thanks for the welcome!

Oh! My first soap was cocoa butter, coconut oil and almond oil - I called it almond joy soap :p It smelled heavenly of chocolate even with no scent added, and I gave it as Christmas gifts. I need to make more of that one!

I want to make a salt bar next, and I'm TRYING to wait till all my goodies come from my first soap gear order, but I may not hold out that long and just make it basic white with what little EO's I have remaining. Its important to keep making and learning stuff, right? RIGHT?
