Today, I made the beer soap that I wanted to try with EO blend that has grapefruit and the dank smell from pine needle and cedarwood. Color isn't what I wanted, I was looking for pink and yellow. But the beer and hops threw it off.
I'm used to soaping at a really light trace, but because I want to students to take this soap home, I'm putting it in mold like brownie batter. Combine that with the fact that I've had two strokes and sometimes things get a little awkward.
I've started pre-batching my lye....and OMG, it is a game charger! I wish I had done it sooner.
So, here it is going in the oven on bread proof setting.
