I had two young ladies to get graduation gifts for, so I decided to make them a couple of soap gift boxes. Unfortunately, I have been home today not feeling well, so my husband delivered them for me. I wish I could have seen what they thought of them. I put the soaps in a wire mesh sorting tray that I got at Wal-Mart in the housewares section. They were less than $3 and they hold a TON of soap! Here's what was in the box:

Front row: three bears, loofa sandal, chocolate soaps, swirly hearts
Middle row: loofah, confetti soaps, sun and moon, grapefruit bath salts
Back row: bag of one-time use petal soaps, bath sponge, peace bar.

I took the picture before I wrapped the whole thing in cellophane and topped it off with a wide gold wired-ribbon.

Wow Wow Wow!!
They look great!
I'm sorry that you missed the looks on their face because they would have loved them, their eyes would have lit up!
What did you husband say?
They look really great. You should put some gift baskets together to sell. :D

looks wonderful! great idea to use the organizing tray at walmart. i was just there this evening hunting around for stuff.....

My husband is not good at relaying any emotion from other people...but he said they liked them. Literally, like this: "They liked them." Woo.

I showed these to my mom, and she said I should make and some gift baskets, too. My mom said for her next card party she wants to buy some of the petal soaps for her bathroom. I'm thinking that little bags of them might be cute to sell, too. Oh, the possibilities. I just don't know if I have the time or the energy.

Great gift! Especially nice if they are going away to college to have something special from home to use. :)

Great gift! It looks really nice the way you put it together. I'd love to get some peace sign molds. I know a TON of teenagers around here and my kids' friends that would be all over those.
