Okay, remember that post I did a while back because Jack kept having health issues?

Well, he just got x-rays tonight to see if the prescription diet dissolved the bladder stones.

The x-ray came back clear!!! We even compared the two and it was such a big difference. They're still going to do a urine test to see if there's still small crystals, but given how the big stones are gone I'm hopeful that the urine test will be clear too.

So yay!

(I also ended up using the CareCredit card for the first time tonight. I'm glad I have it.)

Thank you Grayce, Rowan! It's a huge relief. If the stones hadn't dissolved, then we'd be looking at an expensive, risky surgery.

Thank you, all of you! The lab tests on his urine were also clear today.

On the other hand, I'm having trouble getting him to actually *eat* today, and it's worrying me. I know the vet wants to give him a few days because of the anti-inflammatory pills he was on earlier this week, but I'm getting flashbacks to one month after his surgery back in 2012, when he started throwing up and refused to eat.
