I wanted to use ginger and lemongrass eo; I know that lemon mixes well, how about lemongrass? Any one blend these two together? How much for each? I have a friend that keeps asking for ginger and lemongrass soap, I just not sure of ginger.

I'm not sure of amounts, but when I want to blend something I do this:

Put drop of EO1 on a Qtip. Put drop of EO2 on a Qtip. Put together in a ziplock and sniff the next day. If I think I need a different ratio, put 2Qtips of EO1 and 1 Qtip of EO2. Rinse. Repeat - adjusting the ratio until I get it where I want it.

Lemongrass is an awesome blender - citrus with a sweetness to it. Lemon verbena works as well. I think the ginger would be wonderful with it.

I like Snappyllama suggestion, I have done qtips but not in a bag - that's a great idea!

Also I love both lemongrass and litsea, but I think litsea is a little sweeter. I haven't smelled ginger yet but I bet it would be delicious.

I do a blend with lemongrass, ginger, basil, and patchouli to anchor it. It is one of my best sellers.
