I have been looking at the tall skinny molds since I started soaping. I wanted one--so I ordered the liner and finally made some soap in it yesterday. the liner is nice and sturdy and I made a wooden box to go around it. I took it out this morning. haha at first I was really worried about getting it out cuz the liner wasn't going to bend. I was kinda panicking :) but it actually came out fairly easy. I really like the size of the bar too. I used vanilla and rosemary and am liking the scent now just need to wait to see what it discolors to. the yellow was actually a green so don't know what happened there but I still like the color.

Oh thank you! When you made your wooden form did you put holes in the bottom to help press the silicone mold out?

I just slapped something together to go around it for support, but am having a friend make the real mold for it and another liner. I will have him put a couple holes in the bottom. I have a mold with the push holes and I really like it. I made my soap cutter myself but it wasn't an exact thing (I have issues cutting the right sizes--I have no problem cutting multiple pieces of wood the same size--getting it the exact size I need is a whole nother story) if that makes sense.
