getting the Lanolin smell out?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to get the smell out of the lanolin when making balms. I know someone told me awhile back on how to do it, but no longer have the directions. I hate my balms smelling like sheepy cookies... :roll: (snickerdoodle FO and the natural smell mixed together)

I guess I have never added enough lanolin to get an off smell. Will it dissipate over time? The only way I know is to add less lanolin and to use an essential oil or fragrance oil that will cover up the smell.
