Getting started ?

i would love to get started and was wondering if anyone could tell me what i will need to get started, what items and soap base.

i wanna give Melt and pour a try since its apprently the easiest also are any 2 soaps ever the same from 2 diffrent people ?

For melt and pour soap all you really need is:
mp (melt and pour) soap base
way to heat it like in the microwave or double boiler
some type of mold to pour it into

If you plan on adding fragrance, you're going to want a pipette and/or a scale.

Also, since the soap is hand made by 2 different people, it would be different soap, it might be similar though. Even 2 different batches of soap made by the same person is never exactly the same.

I loved the book "Melt and Mold soap crafting" by Westerman. It tells you what you will need and exactly how to do it. It has great pictures and recipes. It will inspire your creative side.
