Get Well Soap Basket

A friend of mine asked me to make a soap basket for her husband who is recovering from colon cancer surgery. He is in his early 60s, so I need some masculine fragrances....and really healing oils.

Can I get some soap recipe suggestions for this very special gift basket.

I am thinking three bars of soap and a container of shaving soap. He's bedridden for a while....

not sure on an exact recipe because im new to this but i would try to make sure they include avocado oil and aloe vera !

Emu and Vit E oils would be nice additions to the soaps. As far as scents bay rum and lime, or spicy scents like cinnamon and clove would be nice.

What about some lotion bars?

if he's bedridden, how about some kind of refreshing body splash or mist?

How about a soothing balm with some chamomile? This makes a nice massage butter, too.

Here's one:

1 oz bees wax
.5 oz sweet almond oil
.5 oz mango or other butter
.5 oz Chamomile FO

Melt the solids, add the liquids.

Then you could include a bar of soap made with chamomile infused oil & FO.
