One jar I used a little, the other one was still unused. They are both completely stone hard ?????
Is it the humidity? Can I do something to make it soft again???

wonder how, one was never opened ???
Does it mean the potency will be gone?

It happened to me also. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that the the moisture compromised the efficacy of the preservative. I threw mine away.

Bummer :(
Now I have to order again, I think I will go with the liquid this time...
What do you prefer Soapbuddy?
And thank you for the info :)

I bought the powder thinking it would last longer. It didn't. I now get it as a liquid.

sorry, one more question, can I use Germall II plus in sugar scrub, since it is all oil based?

Germall Plus works the best in water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions. For scrubs that have no water, but water might get introduced into the jar, I would use Phenonip (paraben based) or Optiphen (non paraben based).
