I see tons of dupes for perfumes and other popular scents. In general, do they smell like the originals at all? Or is it dependent on the company?

Some smell right on the money, some smell pretty close, and others not close enough. I've found that it doesn't depend so much on the company as it does on the individual FO. I've bought different dupes from the same company that were hits while others were misses.

Are you looking for a particular dupe?

IrishLass :)

Regarding perfume dupes where I know the perfume well, I can always sniff out the imposter but I guess that they are reasonably close (for some noses) although I think they smell even worse after being on the skin for a few hours.

the common scent has some good ones, many of them were very close or right on. drakkar, angel, cashmere mist, pricess, coco chanel very good, hypnotic poison, not the same.

check the scent review board is all I can say...

I once got a Warm Vanilla Sugar that smelled like a mix between cotton candy and grape soda.

I'm still mad about that.

Juicy Couture is my favorite perfume but I haven't found a dupe for it in soap scents. I have seen many, though looking through the different sites. Scentworks seems to have some good ones.

Oh I love Juicy by Juicy Couture, it smells so yummy! I am not looking for anything specific, I just see so many dupes. I know the perfume ones, not the bath and body works or candle smells. I like unique smells if I am going to go to an FO.
