Gel making ... any experiences with this product?

Thanks ... perhaps I will give them both a try. I think I will also need to do some investigating to see if they clog pores or not. I may compare the two of them over time and if or when I do, I'll post my results.

Tory ...do you find this ingredient is not sticky?? I have at times wanted to make a light summer moisturizing gel (oil free) ...but they always seem sticky ...this might be what I need ...what I read on the link you provided said without tackiness - that would be great!

I don't think it is tacky.I really like it in our hair gels and it does have nice comb through, I think. But something else to consider: I think it takes a while to absorb or evaporate or whatever. I added some to my son's acne stuff because he wanted to try a gel instead of a liquid. It gelled nicely, but the wet feeling remains on the skin longer than I would expect.
