Hi all! I'm not much of an forum user, but I've been lurking for weeks and figure I should be polite and introduce myself. I'm loving on CP soaps and think I'm going to start trying some with goats milk next. My last two batches are curing in my office closet. I made a batch of soap with calendula infused olive oil (as well as palm, coconut and castor) used some rose geranium, citrus and cedar wood essential oils and used a PVC pipe as a mold. Then I cut them in half, I need to work on cutting. My other batch was my first swirl of a brown and white soap with cocoa butter. My sweet hubby made a wooden mold for me, so I had to use it. (I'm sure you all understand :) The swirls look good, I'll have to see if I get brown bubbles from the cocoa powder I used.

Thanks for your generosity in sharing all you're knowledge, it's helped me have a better understanding of the whole process.

Welcome to the forum! :D

I'm glad you stopped lurking. The calendula infused olive oil batch sounds wonderful. I've been reading about using herbs and infusing oil but that's all the farther I've gotten on it.

Please post about your cocoa batch, too. I'm interested in hearing if you get brown bubbles because I've been planning on doing a cocoa soap. I just got some vanilla FO and I've got chocolate so I was going to blend them and then use cocoa powder for color.
