Made my wife some Chocolate Mint Bath Soap and as I'm trying to use "natural" stuff, forgetting of course that my Chocolate mint was an FO not an EO I used Cocoa powder as my colourant. I mixed a little in and didn't like the saturation so I mixed a little more in and so on and so on. I finally ended up with a nice milk chocolate looking bar. So, did the ol' cure and loe and behold I unwrapped it and had something that looked like Dark Dark Chocolate. My wife said she loved the way it looked, me not so much, but hey, she likes it, fine by me. But because of the amount of cocoa powder I used in the couloring every time we use it it's like we are bleeding chocolate, it is the most disconcerting thing to be washing and watch everything on you turn brown and splatters of brown all over the shower. Luckily being soap, it all washes off and actually cleans quite well. Next time I think I'll use a little restraint and common sense.

Thanks for posting. My next soap is going to be chocolate and I would have done the exact same thing!

Did that too! My bars looked liked brownies and bubbled brown. If I do make that recipe again I will definately cut back on the cocoa!
