Yes I was referring to the process in which it is made. Soap vs non soap. I am not aware of any companies making just a strictly detergent base although there are probably some out there. I have been doing this since 2003. I forget I have to be extra clear in my wording for some.

I don't think anyone is doubting the creativity of melt n pour. When someone says " cheating", I'm thinking they mean that it's not made from scratch.
