I wanted to post this pic of this batch of soap for the attempted technique. Has anyone else tried it this way? I used fresh cut grass from nature's garden. With a homemade wood loaf mold and brambleberrys multi pour tool dividers. I did four colors instead of 3 like in the video but same process as her. Mad micas snow white, tennis yellow, flash dance, and envy.

Mine didn't quite come out like hers, I poured mine when the batter was at a thinner trace, probably between thin and medium. I think if I had waited longer there would have been more color definition with the "grass" and less color mixing happening. Will attempt it again.

After watching that video, it finally clicked into place what I have been doing wrong with my swirls.

Thank you! I knew I should have waited to pour until it thickened more but I got impatient. Todd, pouring too thin or how its cut?

I pour the colors to soon and they get lost in the un-colored portion and so I don't get the swirls like she gets.

Yeah, I still struggle with getting the right consistency, usually too thin or so thick all I can do is spoon it in.

@Ant You may not have done it "just right" but I sure like the results. I will have to study the vid a bit more...it might make me braver about swirls and colors and such.

Give it a whirl :) I had a lot of fun trying to recreate it. And liked choosing the color combination.
