5 wks later, yuk.
Plasticy and kind of dead fishy.

Oh no! I've made this before and didn't have this happen. I hope it's either a fluke or too many FOs/soaps inthe same space. Yeah, who wants gold fish tank smelling soap?

Well, we had friends visit when I lived with my old roommates and their kids decided to dump soap bubbles into the fish pond. Not the same thing, huh? ;-) (by the way, my roommate was not impressed)

Well I took a fresh sniff today and it isn't nearly as bad as it seemed yesterday.
I really think my nose gets confused with all this fragrance sniffing.
It really does smell better oob though to me.
Not a favorite though for sure so I might make some confetti out of it, but today I am not getting the fish note but still some plastic.

That's interesting. What kind of oils did you use for it aside from the FO? Perhaps one of your oils is older and going bad?

Normal oils which are pretty fresh but I did infuse some annotto (sp?) in olive on the stove, wonder if it got overcooked maybe?

Always possible! I did my first infusion of annatto this weekend, but it's a powder, and I am letting it cold-infuse over time. I'll have to sniff it when I get home!

I have some BB Fresh Bamboo soap made over a year ago - still smells light and fresh.
