So pretty!
I would love to grow Calendula...but I seem to have a black thumb if there are petals involved :(
I got the seeds to sprout, but when I planted them in a pot, they croaked.
I can grow any green herb - mints, sage, oregano, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, basil, lemongrass, etc. - and try to grow as many of the herbs that I use as I can.
Any advice? I'm region 9 on the gardening zone...

I am in zone 9 too.

I cannot claim credit for doing anything. Calendulas self seed prolifically and they just grow all over the place in our garden. We let them grow unless we need the garden bed for vegetables. They grace us with their pretty yellow flowers in the spring and fall. I guess spring has started here! I also have arugula going crazy (also self seeded) and borage is the same way. If I could just capture the beautiful blue flowers in soap, but I don't think this is doable. The bees do feed off the calendulas and borage, so this is a very good thing.
