Bramble Berry bases fragrance usage on total batch weight. Most of the other calculators base usage rate only on oil weight.

Okay gotcha, thank you. Doesn't that affect IFRA numbers? And make it impossible to compare "3%" across batches that were calculated with their calculator vs. other ones?

If you are using any EO, I'd double-check the skin-safe usage rate for that specific EO in EOCalc.com first.

Brambleberry's fragrance calculator is very generic and seems to assume that you know the skin-safe usage rate and will adjust accordingly on your own.

What @AliOop said. For me, personally, I base my usage rates on IFRA % and then use that percentage based on my total oil weight for the batch.
