Fragrance change possible??

I ordered my husband a shaving set with brush and bowl and it came with a m&p little tub of shaving soap. The fragrance is about to knock me over and is just terrible. If I melt that again will some of the smell dissipate and allow me to adjust it a little? I have some spearmint and lavender. Thankyou!

If you remelt it, then some of the scent will leave.

I would not reccomend adding any more scent, since there's only so much oil that mp soap can hold before it starts leaking out.

Thankyou Genny! Maybe it will just disappear lol! I'm not fond of throwing out good soap but I wouldn't even use it as laundry soap it smells that bad.

If you reheat it a couple times, that might help get rid of the scent.

Also, I've been told by a local soapmaker that she shreds mp and sprinkles it around her garden to keep deer away.
I plan on trying it with my garden this summer. I haven't started gardening this year yet & I'm glad, because I saw that we're supposed have frost tonight
