Made these bath salt to give out as Chinese new year gifts
I was going to make bubbling salt cakes using surfactants but I'm still looking for a good SLSa alternative since I can't get it here. Still need some experiments.
I ended up just mixing baking soda and citric acid for a short fizz. Good enough.
The scents are: purple-lavender lily, pink-peachy rose, yellow-neroli citrus
I used heat-seal packages for these and they are 50g each.
The recipe's super simple so I figured I would share:
Liquids:
2 EO/FO
2 polysorbate 80 (Was going to use poly20 but couldn't remember where I put it. You will need more for poly 20)
Colorant (doesn't count towards total weight. I used 2% liquid colorant to achieve the color above)
Powders:
20 Baking Soda
10 Citric Acid
64 Sea Salt coarse (Mine is too coarse lol doesn't dissolve well. Will get smaller ones next time)
