YAY! I bought a 3pound mold from Michael's with a 40% off coupon the other day (yup, I sure did buy another soap related item!) and I couldn't wait to try it out with my new pigments that I got from the WSP colorant sale! This is my first time using pigments/titanium dioxide in a soap! Scented with lavender and lemongrass EO's. Can't wait for it to cure! This is one of my first "pretty" soaps!

Very pretty! How did you do the swirls?

Well, I wanted to do an in the pot swirl, but things got too thick on me, so I poured the white in first, then dropped a line of the lavender down the middle, then followed with the green on the top. Then I just took an old knife and jabbed it around a bit because it was one of the closest things on hand without me leaving my table :)

The square ones in the back I had an empty cream carton that I just poured the left over purple and green into, alternating, then did a little stir with the knife. The front ones were prevented from gelling, the ones in the back I insulated overnight to gel.
