Hi everyone,

Well I just got home from my first Spa Party - what a blast!!!! It was a roaring success - everyone told me they really enjoyed it and everyone bought. I taught them how to make a simple bath salts and they were just thrilled. I then have everyone try a "Camay" bar on one arm and then one of mine on the other....they couldn't believe the difference. I believe I will get follow-up business from this and once I complete my training I will hold more....

So this is something I recommend to everyone...it works...

Cheers
Lindy

Congratulations Linda.

I am so happy for you. I know you will be really successful. You definately have the passion.

x

you are one ambitious and creative lady! boy i wish i had a 10th of your energy!

i like that you're never afraid to try something new or look at something from a different angle. this is one of the "keys" to success!

way to go!

Congrats!! Now when I want to host my own party I will call you! LOL

Congratulations Linda! I am so happy for you :D I will be going that route sometime soon and definitely will add your compare the soap idea......it is wonderful as each guest can decide for themselves - and we already know what they will think

Tanya :)

Thanks Jody & Heartsong!! It was way fun!

Pepper - hmmm - NY -> BC - well they both have 2 letters, both in North America - hmmmmm - thinking about it - hmmmm - well yeah nope. Sorry.... 8)

Tanya - the guests were amazed at just how much difference there was and they were even more impressed because I had bought a "lotion" bar for the comparison. The looks on their faces was beyond fun!!! In 2 1/2 hours I got around $100 in sales. I figure that's pretty good for a first run - I'm hoping that will increase with each party.... I gave away small bath bombs, small soap samples and everyone bought. We made the Bath Salts and they really enjoyed that. So I would recommend this for anyone - easy to do - you just tell people what makes you excited about your products. They end up asking questions which leads to more information and it really does become a give & take....

Sounds fun Lindy! Congrats on your sales!

Did you advertise your party to the public or was it just friends and family? How many people showed up?

The hostess invited her friends and family - we had 7 guests - everyone bought - some people only bought a really small item ($3.75) while another lady bought $40 so it was all over the map....everyone wanted my business card so they can get more...I gave the hostess a credit of 10% of the sales towards her purchase as well as a Hostess gift. I'll definately do it again......
