Going to be brave and learn how to make Sea Salt Soap Bars. If y'all would be so kind as to review it before I make a mess, I would be really grateful!

Coconut Oil, 76 deg.-12.8 oz
Olive Oil, pomace- 1.6 oz
Shea Butter- 0.8 oz
Castor Oil- 0.8 oz

NaOH- 2.212 oz
H2O- 6.08 oz

Sea Salt- 12 oz

As far as I can tell, that is going to be an awesome bar! I'm on a a tablet and can't check soap calc. Just be sure it has 20% superfat and use the default water. Oh and be ready to cut in a few hours.

That is exactly what I have on SoapCalc and it is 20%. I am just making sure that it has the correct oils in appropriate amounts.

Here are the oils in percentages:

Coconut Oil, 76 deg.- 80%
Olive Oil, pomace- 10%
Shea Butter- 5%
Castor Oil- 5%

Thanks for the help!

I've done 15% olive oil or 15% Shea and they both turned out fabu. Your mix will probably be even better.

OK, thanks y'all! Going to get sea salt in a couple of hours when the store opens.

Just out of curiosity,(I have spent 3 hours online trying to find the answer and can't, so it is a really BIG curiosity.) what is the difference in texture, lather, etc of a salt bar vs. solseife? I plan to make both, but I have only enough individual molds for one 1 lb oil recipe. So, the solseife will have to wait for another day.
