Hi everyone, I'm new to soaping but not to forums.

I intend to try my hand at CP, and have gotten a few books from the library.
Just awaiting the arrival of my maslin pan from Amazon, and I'll be all set.

Definitely jealous of the multitude of stuff you guys in the US have available, nowhere near the available choice here in the UK, but I'll give it my best none the less.

Kris :)

BTW, what's a "maslin pan"?

A large pan with a narrow bottom and wide top which seems to promote an even spread of heat, primarily used by jam makers.
Available in Stainless Steel, Aluminium, or if money is really burning a hole in your pocket, Copper

For obvious reasons the one I have ordered is Stainless Steel. Holds about 9 litres or 316.75 fluid ounces, but I don't think I'll be using it near it's capacity anytime soon

:)
