After years of thinking about it, I finally made my first batch of soap yesterday. I used the recipe that came with the Brambleberry CP kit and scented with Brambleberry energy. I'm planning on another batch tomorrow.

Not going to be too picky, but I really have to work on my cutting lol. I used a wood mold I made last weekend.

good for you, and the soapies came out such a pretty creamy white! they'll clean up nicely if you let them dry a bit before dressing the edges. great job!

and welcome to a divine addiction!

Nice job! I still have trouble getting all my bars cut the same. I told my husband the other day that next time he gets me a present......!!!! Lol!

Looks great! and congrats on your first!!!

I can hardly wait to see your next batches, those are lovely! Congratulations!

Thanks everyone! Hubby is kinda meh with my new hobby lol, so thanks for the positive feedback.

Give him some manly colors and see if you can find a scent that is similar to what he likes.. they make lots of designer cologne types (just check if they are body safe) and he will come around. Mine has.. but then again he has no choice. haha!

Congrats on your first batch. No turning back now - at this point you're probably already hooked. The good news is you're in for a lot of fun.

Don't expect your hubby to ever be the least bit interested in your soap. Mine isn't! That's what we're here for, so stick around. :)
