Green tea soap scented with lemongrass EO.

You have surely been on a soap making kick!!! I'm jello jealous! My supplies haven't arrived yet! Looks great and is this the batch that was stubbornly stuck in the mold? Lol

Looks great! I like the green. I didn't add colorant to my tea soap and it's a bit brown. Will have to try adding color next time!

Beautiful! You are on a roll! Did you use the actual green tea to color it? It's a lovely shade of green.

I used a green tea infusion and I also used a little bit of woodland green oxide. I was really worried about the color yesterday, when I poured it it was a really dark brown with a green tint and really looked ugly to me. I am so happy it lightened up :)

And, yes Cherry, this is the one that was stuck in the mold. I think next time I get money, I am going to try to decide if it goes for a cutter or a slab mold... I can't cut a straight bar to save my life!

Look at that, you unstuck it! It's very nice. I'm glad it came out well for you. I vote for cutter - you can make one for about $10.00, and you can adjust how big you want your bars if you make it one of the open ones like Shannon has.

very nice...love Lemongrass too!.....especially with a bit of Litsea :)

Okay, I have heard people mentioning litsea before, but I have never seen or more importantly smelled it before. What plant is it and what does it smell like? It is another on my list of tempted to buy because I am curious of. (Not like I need much to tempt me, lol)

On the plus side, April is only a week away... I now have to wait for my order before I can make any more soap, and during my insomnia I had an idea that I wanted to try out and I can't do it for a while. I don't have the color, the FO, or the jojoba beads >,>

I really like the way those look!

If the end of your pvc pipe is straight, one thing you could try is to extrude the soap from the pvc an inch at a time, or whatever your desired thickness is, and then use the end of the pipe as a cutting guide.

That is brilliant! I would never have thought of that. Thank you so much for the suggestion!
