Sorry for all the confusion, folks... My explanation could have been better.
- Yes, 1 donor bar for every 10 new bars. Since I didn't have soap scraps, I shredded one
- I used the 100% lard soap because it was pure white (what I wanted) and already made
- 100% lard
- The recipe for the colored soap is fairly standard:
- 30% coconut oil
- 60% lard
- 5% castor oil
- Disregard the soda ash (on the blue ones). When that's washed off, the speckles are all that remain
