Finishing tips and tricks

Presently I am using a cheese planer/slicer to bevel the edges. Does anyone have a better idea? Finishing the edges takes it up a notch, especially when colouring doesn't work out as planned.

I have a beveler but prefer my old fashioned potato peeler

I also have a beveler and find myselft using a ceramic potato peeler the most often. I is a really smooth peeler that is a horizonal peeler

My husband made me one like this and I didn't like it at all. He's a machinist so made me a stainless one.

I use a Japanese woodworking radius plane made by Kakuri:

It gives me lovely, sculptured bevels.

Okay, now that I might have to give a try. I love the bevel on your soaps. They are beautifully done. Thank you for sharing
