I tried many different oil combos and %'s and I'm finally getting to use some of them.

I tried my spearmint/eucalyptus this morning after my workout....WOW....the soap was as invigorating as the workout :) I love it.

It's so fun to be able to finally use them :)

It's sooo hard to wait for our soaps to cure, but so worth it when they're ready to be used. Sounds like you made a really nice one. :D

I love any minty scent...congrats on your success.

FYI I have just started using my ginger pear fo scented salt soap and I am surprised by how much the scent stays on your hands after you use it. My guess is it is because I used avocado oil which has a lot of unsaponifiables.

I also planned on adding my salt to the oil at a 1 to 1 ratio, but I had just a bit more salt than oil and I decided to add it. It did make the soap more crumbly than normal after it cured, but I used it after doing some work that had left a lot of gunk on my hands that was very filthy. This soap did wonders at being scrubby and not totally drying out my hands after a very long handwashing session and numerous other handwashes.
