I finally found the charger to my camera (I'm sooo disorganized  ) so I took pics of the last 3 batches. The sad whipped soap which looks like dog poop pics I've already posted here.

Another bungled attempt at swirling which turned out to look more like marbeling. I used micas (aqua, dusty rose and radiant gold) and scented it with Bamboo Sugar Cane.

The Bastile soap batch poinsettias didn't turn out very nice. The extra from the batch I had poured into a skull mold. Not very Christmasy but I have a nephew and niece who will like these better than traditional holiday images.

I LOVE that skull mold! I'm sure all the boys love those- I know my son would.

I am pretty partial to the marbled look- I really love it, but I know what you mean if you wanted fine swirls and got marble out of it. Your colors are really pretty together, but I'm sure the boys would rather have the poop soap or the skulls. What do they know!

I love the soap !
and as far as your whipped soap - at least you had the guts to try it !! you'll be a pro in no time :D

It's a nice quality mold from Brambleberry and makes good sized soaps.

Yes, I thought it did turn out pretty but I love swirls. I've seen so many beautifully done soaps on this forum and *darn it* I want swirls in my soaps, too.

Thanks. I think I embarrassed myself by posting those pics. However, it was really easy to do the whipped soap and it didn't take very long. I'll definitely be trying it again.

Lyn & HenleyNatural,

Thanks! I thought the color combination turned out nice. I was a little concerned the dusty rose wouldn't work since it was a duller color than the aqua & gold. In the package it's a brownish rose but it became a brighter rose in the soap. So even though I didn't get swirls, it did teach me how these colors alter slightly in CP.

Psst...hey Lyn...get the mold. It's amazing the different looks you can get from using different batches. I poured the extra from this batch into the skull mold so now I have a cream colored skull with aqua, rose and gold. Unfortunately, the soap was a little soft when I went to unmold it and I squished the skull. :(

LOL! I have to admit that I laughed out loud when I saw your doo doo soaps

(not because of the soap itself, just because you are so funny.

"Okay...here's the doo doo whipped soap bath fizzie cupcakes. (I'm humiliating myself here by showing my sad looking examples after Amanda's beautiful ones.)"

ohh too funny.)

I haven't been brave enough to try the cupcakes OR whipped soap myself so you are leaps and bounds ahead of me, you brave thing.

I LOVE the bamboo sugar cane soap. Nice swirls on the top!

You have got to try the whipped soap. It is sooo easy! Nothing brave about it. I'm already planning to do a batch soon as Valentine Day gifts. I hope to do it this weekend so it can cure for about 2 months. Also, the bath fizzie cupcakes are easy, too. You just cram the mix into cupcake liners. Now I just hope the soap stays adhered to the fizzies.

Thanks. Yes, the top looked nicely swirled which is why I was so hopeful it would turn out. Oh well, I'll just keep trying.

Glad I made you laugh. :D
