Fantastic Book for Newbies!!!!

I just wanted to share this book I ordered on Amazon that I have found immensely helpful.

It's called: "Basic Soap Making: All the Skills and Tools you need to get started" by Patsy Buck

There are tons and tons of pictures and a great step by step instructional on cold process soap. There's even information on how to clean up your soapmaking stuff safely. She also goes into how to dye and fragrance soaps, and make swirly designs, etc.

Having been scarred by my first batch mishap I wanted a better beginner book and I have found it!!!

I recommend this to anyone learning to make soap alone!

I love that book! I call it my soap bible. It is great for beginners. I have only been making cold process for a couple of months & I use that book almost every time.
