Oh, boo. If you have a crock pot handy toss it in, the sooner the better and just HP it. You would have to stay up and watch it though.

Bummer.
Been there with the huge pool of oil thing.
I had to triple bag a soap for the bin once.
It happens.
You never know the oil might reabsorb.

No crockpot. I'll go to Goodwill this weekend.

I think I'm gonna have to toss this one.

Never mind. :(
Start planning the next batch.
Did it get hot????
Possibly overheating and a fiddly FO.

Damn! That's a lot of oil. It didn't get too cool on you and give you a false trace, did it? Make a note on that FO, either way, so you can prepare next time. Is Rafiki a floral?

I soaped right at 100. I usually soap really high like 130-140 lye temp. Oils temps never mattered.

I really didn't think about false trace but would that have gelled in the pot? It was like sandy pudding.

Rafiki is.... fruity?

Most likely the temp was the issue - how much oil did you add? Can you rebatch it?

I didn't rebatch. I triple bagged and tossed. This was my..... third batch(?) of soap ever. So I wasn't really prepared (or smart enough) to expect to have to rebatch
