Geez, I am struggling today. I normally soaped in my kitchen and now I have turned a large spare room into my soaping room. I pretty much have it set up like I want it except I haven't moved the curing racks in yet. My friend is coming Thursday to put shelves up for me.

So, I have three loaves to make today and I'm just now getting the first HP batch in the crock pot. LOL.. I'm turning in circles trying to find everything! It's just weird not having a sink in there. (not that I used it that much, but still).

Anyone else struggle after moving out of the kitchen?

On a positive note: I'm getting the urge back to cook... like real food in the kitchen! :-D

First I started making soap in the kitchen, 2nd was in the garage, 3rd was in the family room,
and finally I am settled into a room but my soap rack and other shelves are still in the family room. They did not fit in. Now, my house finally looks like a house, not a soap factory! :)>

I've moved several times, but its been from dorm room to dorm room. Once you're used to soaping in a tiny room with only one little table , i think you can do it anywhere XD

My new husband and I were talking...when we have a baby we might start looking for a new house. I have always wanted a 1920s Spanish colonial home and they almost always have guests houses on the premises. If I am so lucky, I dream of turning something like that into a soap workshop, until then I will be soaping in the kitchen but I hate it. I don't keep anything I use for soaping in the kitchen. We have 4 bedrooms, but I can't imagine not having a sink, even though its not used very much but still will feel odd to me. I guess kitchen it is for now... a girl will just have to dream... :D
