I've used evap goat's milk, added to the oils as half my water amount. Very nice soaps. Haven't used evap cow's milk though.

I've used Evaporated Milk several times. I discounted the amount of milk from the water. I always get the milk slushy frozen and add it after I mix the lye/water and oils together. It makes a nice soap--I use it when I make oatmeal soap.

How much milk do you suggest? Half water half milk or more milk less water? What effects does the milk give?

I have used evaporated goats milk in my soap. The benefits of the added milk is that the soap leaves your skin so soft. I love it, and will use it again.
