I’ve been waiting to ask this question, I use new direction aromatics for essential oils and because I live in California they have a prop. 65 warning. This is a cancer warning. This is confusing to me. Anyone can explain this?
"The list contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that include additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. Listed chemicals may also be used in manufacturing and construction, or they may be byproducts of chemical processes, such as motor vehicle exhaust."
I downloaded list and it contains over a 1000 different items. Some of the items on the list I found interesting:
Alcoholic Beverages
Aloe Vera, non-decolorized whole leaf extract
Aspirin
Coconut oil diethanolamine condensate
Estrogen-progestogen (combined) used as menopausal therapy
Oral contraceptives, combined
Salted fish, Chinese-style
Testosterone and its esters
Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size)
Honestly...I wouldn't worry too much about it.
