Essential oil brand

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone have ever used Aura brand essential oils. Not sure if it's okay to use for cold process soap making. Thanks and have a great weekend!

You can, but they are very pricey. There are many online vendors with good quality oils at much better prices.

Too costly. Try www.iherb.com Alchemy brand is pretty reasonable

Nevermind forget the alchemy iherb thingy. Try www.camdengrey.com You can buy larger amounts for a better price.

Keep in mind that the likelihood of the therapeutic properties surving saponification are minimal since essential oils are volatile and are destroyed through heat so what remains (imo) is just the fragrance. So if you're not using EO's for therapeutic aromatherapy then price counts more than quality - in other words go for less expensive in soap.....

nice rationale, lindy!!!! i totally agree. don't waste the $$$$ on expensive eo's. from what you can save, you can have a lovely time doing something one-on-one with aromatherapy with your extra eo's. here's to massages, foot therapy, a lovely candle-lit dinner etc. etc.! (not like i have the wherewithal to take my own advice
