EO questions

I'm having trouble this week with EO's, hopefully someone has some insight. Typically just 1-2 teaspoons is all that is added to 60oz HP recipe; just to give it a light scent.

This week for some reason the scent seems to completely dissipate and it is baffling me. I've even significantly increased the EO amount; over 1 Tablespoon and it is still occurring.

Differences this week: weather is warmer and using a new recipe where oils are palm, coconut, olive. Previous successful recipe was coconut, olive, palm.

Question: has anyone noticed a difference based on weather, or based on soap oils? Everything else in the process is exactly the same

Probably the added heat and possibly this recipe heats up a little more than before.
But with that amount of EO's, I would not expect to get any kind of lasting scent at all.
