I'm making a vanilla bath salt with pink Himilayen salts. Do you think from now until just a few days before Christmas will be enough time to see if the scent doesn't morph? I know it won't with regular sea salt but this pink salt looks so nice.
For a gift, I suppose you could label for therapeutic properties. However, if you ever sells these, your label would have to change as you cannot make any medical/therapeutic properties about your bath salts.Soapy Gurl said:I just ordered some pink himalayan salt, I can't wait to get it! Where the color comes from minerals in the salt and you have used the vanilla before with no discoloration. I am going with the answer that they will stay pink. You should have enough time to tell. That is about 4 weeks. I hope it works. Make sure to put the benefits of the salts on the label. They are very therapeutic. People need to know that it is an extra special gift!
