I am currently at this moment cooking my soap in the crockpot for HP and accidentally added the egg yolks before cooking instead of just before molding. Should I throw the batch out now or keep going? Btw I am making a hair shampoo bar. TIA

eggs

how did the soap turn out? i make rtcp and i find h/p intriguing, but never had time to pursue. could you reccommend a site so i could learn more about it? is it as hard on fragrances as c/p? you egg-yolking sounds most adventurous!

Yeah, it actually turned out fine (phew) I made a goats milk and olive unscented but ick, it smells not so great but have read that it should get better as it cures.

I got the recipe from a book. HP is soooo easy, although it doesn't have that nice smooth look that CP does. I read up about it for ages before trying out. I have the book Soap Naturally and found it an excellent reference to keep going back to.
