Hi really need some help i made cupcake bath bomb base i use

2 cup bicarb
1 cup citric
1TBSP almond oil
3 tsps fragrance
a few TBS coconut oil to bind
and a few spritz of whitch hazel

I binded it togeather with some melted coconut oil and a few spritz of whitch hazel, i thought it was a good consistency as it was just holding togeather, i packed into cupcake moulds all was fine 10 mins later they seem to be growing i put into my airing cupboard as as i thought this might help as its quite damp in the uk at the moment now they seem to be rising like a proper cake. I have tried one and they fizz well (not for as long as i would like thoe).

Can any one shed any light on what i have done wrong. :#

too much liquid (witch hazel) and too high humidity in the air.

bummer.

unfortunately the fizz probably won't last.

i would just skip the liquid and use only hard oil or butters to hold the bomb together. that is what i do and i dont get any warting or growing

i use a tiny bit of almond oil and coco butter, less then you with WAY more bicarb and citric acid. you can also try less witch hazel.

Hi thank you for the replies i think i will try just with hard oils or butter, and see how that goes. :)
