Easy lotion recipe for a newby?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, I'm usually in the CP forum. I'd like to start making lotion from scratch using some of my favorite oils & butters but I don't want to make a really large batch. All of the recipes I've found online so far make 48 oz or more & I'd like to start off with a 8-16 oz batch. Can anyone recommend a simple beginners recipe or maybe tell me how to reduce a large batch? Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions or tips!
