Last night our 3 year old Yorkie, Shianne, gave birth for the first time to 5 tiny Yorkie puppies. We did loose male that had breathing problems.
They are no 24 hours old and loving their new life. Here are a few pics;
About halfway through the delivery, 3 new puppies enjoying life outside mom.
This morning's breakfast roll call.
All full after breakfast, now it's sleepy time for them and break time for mommy!
They are about the size of a large house mouse.
Mommy weighs 8 pounds, and Cooper, our male Yorkie, affectionately now known as "daddy" weighs about 5 pounds.
We are going to have our hands full. My wife bought a Grayco infants play pen today to keep daddy away, and mommy and babies safe and secure.
