DOS

Hello again,

If you were following the soy oil thread (recipe help) this is a follow up. The client sent me the soaps she wants me to replicate and although they had some very nice qualities, I suspect DOS is resulting from the soybean oil. (Photo attached)

I recommended High Oleic Sunflower oil instead. She agreed to the change up (🙏) Im reading differing percentages for usage in CP. Thoughts on

42% palm shortening (100% palm)
35% HO sunflower
18% coconut
5% castor

3% SF

Yes most likely. Or you could switch to soy wax at 25%, palm at 35%, and then other liquid oils. for some reason the wax doesn't seem to promote DOS.
