Hi,
I can't seem to figure out precisely what temperatures I am allowed to ship.
I'd like to know under what temp you're not allowed to ship outside of the state of the fragrance company,
under what temp you need to ship with fedex only &
from what temp & up there's no temperature restrictions.
I have to know this exactly, cause all my orders will go to a small company in Texas, to a woman that will further ship this towards me, and I have to give her the information...
Thank you!

I am pretty sure that you need a flash point of 200 or over to ship air. The rest must go ground.

:roll: Had some feedback from Nature's Garden and they state they don't have any problems/restrictions regarding the flash points...
So I emailed Brambleberry and hope for a quick response.

Okay, for anyone who is interested;
Flash points under 140 are considered low
Flash points from 140 to 199 are medium
Flash points from 200 are high

Within the States, all medium & low fragrance oils should be shipped by FedEx only.
Internationally, it is not possible to ship low flash point FO's, because of the hazard it could be on an airplane.
Note that not al companies do it this way...

that sounds about right. except in the US we have the option of shipping USPS Parcel Post which is by ground or also by UPS ground.

the overseas stuff will depend on the regulatory agency in your country, but I suspect it's 200F (or the equivalent C) everywhere.

Didn't know that, Carebear. Don't you think it's odd every company has a different statement about this? I was kinda worried, cause when I'd ship in the wrong way, my goods could be confiscated and I could get a fine as well... Would'nt do me any good :wink:
