Do fragrances that contain vanilin also alter the color of bath bombs?

I am wondering. Or vanillin / vanilla does not alter bath bombs? I want to use one that did turn my soaps brown :headbanging:, but it does smell amazing, so I was wanting to try it on BB.

Unfortunately it does turn bath bombs brown, although you may have some luck with vanilla stabilizer with them

Maybe if you include some gold glitter in the bombs they won't look so bad being brown. ?

You can use more brown colorant and call them chocolate bath bombs.

Just don't shape them in a way that could be mistaken for lumps of poo........

Is it a fragrance that works with the colour brown? Not that it matters, but if the scent is "vanilla chocolate cake" then it fits very well. If it's "spring flowers" then not so much

Thanks is a sugar cookie, and a chestnut brown sugar fragrances.

Like all the ideas! (except for the poo ) I do have gold mica. I think I will include that. I will make a batch with stabilizer to test too.

how about candles? Would vanilin affect the color of candles too?
