I am trying different methods and wanted to try rebatching by making a clear base and next day add colors and scents, just to c wat happens. My base smells and it is the smell of palm oil I used, is there any way to deodorize it in the process so I get a scentless base?

What kind of palm oil are you using? The unrefined stuff which is bright orange in color has a distinctive odor. The refined shouldn't smell like anything.
