At the moment I decant my EO into smaller bottles using disposable pipettes. I'm thinking to reusing the same small bottle for future decants. Can this be done? How do I go about cleaning the bottles? They are Amber bottles with small necks. Thanks

People have lots of different methods to clean the bottles.

Some wash in hot soapy water.
Some put salt in them to soak up the extra oil and then wash them.
Some wash them with a water/bleach solution.

I wash with hot soapy water and then they get a ride in the dishwasher with the rest of my soap stuff.

i try anything that works. (except bleach, we are a no bleach household)
baking soda is good and absorbent, along with salt
i wash in the dishwasher over several cycles if the bottles need it. i soak in a bucket of soap and water.

Yeah, I've never tried the bleach method either. We don't have bleach in our house either since we have a septic system.

pour into bottle in the powdered form, let set a couple of days, then i add vinegar for the bubbly action. i don't actually know if the vinegar helps but i like the bubbling so i do it. then into the dishwasher or sink for washing with soap. then rinse. and dry really well.
