This has Choc/Fudge fo, another choc fo ,85% cocoa chocolate melted. Mmmm triple choc.

Nice! Is it my monitor or does the inside look purple?

The inside is the colour of dark chocolate, it turned out different to the outside, if you look at the ones in a row you can see down the side where I sculpted the top and where it was exposed to the air it was lighter.

I see. So probably as the outside cures, it will turn all the same color.

Its about 2wks old now and hasn't changed, I don't mind it this way actually. I think the photo makes it look a little purple.

Mmmm, I want to eat them to, I did eat some of the chocolate but at 85% cocoa its a bit bitter for my liking so I'll keep it for soap. I pick up the soap when I walk past and have a sniff all the time. Saves calories .

I better send Ellie the Easter Bunny on her way then if she's going to get to Adelaide in time.LOL

Relle all your soaps are amazing. Do you use real choc? Chocolate soaps are my fav. How do you add the chocolate?

In this one I used real chocolate. I melted 85% cocoa chocolate and added it at trace. I used about 40 grams in a 1000 gram batch and I also added an FO for smell.

Nice chocolate soap Relle.
This is exactly how mine turns out as well.
Its like caramel fudge on top.
I've got some there that is 6months old and still looks like that.

Relle - did you soap this quiet cool? Fridge set or did you gel? If you don't mind sharing.

Nat, I soap at room temp for all my soap, I'll have to check my notes, I think I covered it with glad at first and left it out, then it started to sweat so took off the plastic. Not sure if I put it in the frig after that. I'll let you know, but it didn't gel either way.
