After seeing the photos on here from time to time I'm thinking "partial gel". I used a wood mold w/a foam liner. What could I do or not do to get a complete gel, or will it even out as it cures?

Made Monday, unmolded yesterday and cut today.

37 oz oo
3 oz castor

13 oz water
5 oz lye

You could warm your mold before you pour. I didn't do that the other day and the ends for some reason didn't get gelled. From now on all my molds will be warmed.

You can pop the mold into a 170 oven for an hour and then turn it off , leave the soap in the oven overnight. I think your soap will lighten up , my castile is a very light creamy white color , it started out darker a month ago.
